Boost productivity, creativity, and wellbeing at work with our browser extension. Our solution is based on 10+ years of award-winning research and has 15x more engagement than the industry average.
Our first patented browser extension offers:
- energizing break reminders (20 sec to 2 min)
- eyestrain reducing color & brightness filters for a soothing screen
- data analytics
Feel less stressed and more productive while on your screen. Breathing.ai adapts your browser color and offers calming guided breaks when stress is detected through your webcam. Using our patented technology, your extension effortlessly elevates your mood, health, and optimizes your performance.
How many hours do you spend on your screen? Work, video calls, school, social media…it all adds up! Excessive screen time is connected to increased stress, neck and joint pain, eye strain, zoom fatigue, and more. Some studies estimate that 80% of screen users suffer from screen apnea – unconsciously holding the breath while on your screen. Chronic breath-holding is associated with several avoidable ailments.
Maybe you’ve tried to breathe better, to sit straighter or to relax your shoulders…but forget about it during your busy day. The extension builds healthy habits like meditation, breathing or posture exercises into your day.
What if the screen adapts to soothe your stress? What if it gave you a gentle notice to remind you to take a quick mindfulness break?
Your extension detects stress in real time, learns what colors calm you, then adapts your screen to effortlessly make you feel better. It suggests a short 20 sec to 2 min break, guided meditation, breathing exercise, or seated movement — all at your workstation.
With detailed analytics, see how your heart and breath rates improve while your break times accumulate. Watch your stress and anxiety go down while your mood and productivity go up.
Prior to launching breathing.ai, our founder Hannes Bend developed the first adaptive heart rate biofeedback Virtual Reality experience in collaboration with neuroscientists, computer scientists, psychology researchers and creatives at the University of Oregon. The team won an award for their work in Wellbeing Computing from Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence at Stanford. Breathing.ai’s founder also developed the first breath biofeedback experience in Virtual Reality during a residency at Thoughtworks. We have received three patents for the innovative bio-adaptive technologies we are building. We are also partnered with research labs at top universities like Northeastern University.
